Journal Notation: In search of a Dragon...
Early this morning, not long after daybreak (about 8:30) I noticed unusual activity out by the pond. I asked my photojournalist to record my quest for the dragon, though, being so young, and not altogether sure what I should be seeking, I had to ask, "Are *You* the dragon?" My photographer and I have a collection of the morning's activity, and when the Great White Bwana photographer came to see what we'd captured, he had a disconnect with his inner child and was far too literal to see what we saw.
But wait! Some activities need to percolate... It was as I was back at base camp journaling the day's sightings, Bwana pointed out that I should rush out to have one more look! It was he who saw the excitement brewing and cried out, "Hark!" etc etc...
This is a book that begins at "The End (?)..." as my amazing journey unfolds... Stay tuned, and try not to miss an episode!
