When I came across the top photo no more than a week or two ago, I knew I'd use it somehow...and very soon! That's my mother helping me to cut my second birthday cake as friends looked on.
Today is our Dylan's second birthday, and looking through today's photos, this of my daughter, Ashley, behind the birthday boy and brother, Ashton, was the best match. Of course this one was in color, and it took a few attempts to match the B&W tones.
I love pairing old photos, and have done so for our girls over the years. I hope the boys will enjoy this when they're older, and perhaps I can use this set-up again when their cousin, Hazel turns two!

Nice one Louise! I'm looking forward to my card. Joe told me he really liked it but didn't tell me what is in it. I check the mailbox everyday instead of every three days like I usually do. Oh the anticipation!
