What is it about “A Beach”? I could photograph it again and again…up beach…down beach…out toward the ocean…watching the waves roll in… To me, an ocean always says to me, “you’re home”. I fully understand our differences, and am glad others send me pictures of mountains and snow. Let me photograph beaches and I’ll be happy forever!

Whenever we get to travel to the Outer Banks in North Carolina it is so enjoyable, and I agree, I could shoot thousands of photos of the ocean. It is so fascinating. I guess it is because we see it so seldom.

The best for me : a quiet beach makes my head stops thinking . Love the salt smell of the breeze and the noises of the waves. The only place it`s happen.

This is beautiful my kindred spirit, and yes, I feel exactly the same way about beaches and the ocean!! I could be having the crappiest day, and be grumpy as all hell, but the minute I step foot on that sand and inhale the salty air it all goes away. Yes, the ocean feels like home, and I would never wish to be too far away from it! Enjoy your time in Rosarito....it has been too long since we have been there....I would like to hear your impressions of it, and maybe we will visit soon!
So beautiful! I'm glad I'm not the only one who could linger at the beach and ocean both to enjoy it and to try and think of new ways to take photos of it. I do miss Vancouver Island and the ocean being so close. But I will be close again one day.
I grew up on the water and love living by the water. I am so drawn to it too. I like to visit the mountains and desserts, but always feel at home near the water.
