Stick with me here a minute if you can... It was a busy week in preparation to leave Friday AM (tomorrow)! Not posting the suitcase pix, but this is our friendly visitor dropping by to send us off and make the transfer to "Fred East" who we've heard is pacing the street & waiting for us! (If you've been with me awhile, it was last fall's story...)
***I want to THANK YOU ALL *so much* for dropping by with messages when I've been all-but absent. I have the go-ahead from the doctors with only a few caveats, so when we arrive in Lunenburg, I'll be cheering, "Hooray for the 4th of July"!
365 member, Sue Stephenson @swazette (who still lurks) arrives on the 9th for a visit (and yes, we met many years ago in Chicago because of this site!). Family arrives only days after that!
***Give me a shout out under comments if there's something I shouldn't miss...that's been helping from those who've done it for me! I would LOVE to be everywhere, but will have some limitations, so bear with me. I adore having come to know ALL of you and will post photos and stay in touch as best possible.

@summerfield Ya'll Come! ...talked to Osia about this last weekend, but it didn't sound as though her bags were packed... Give me the arrival date and your room will await your arrival! I can think of nothing more fun and will be honored that you'd make the trip! YEA!
@kathyboyles thanks, Kathy...I know you love cats, too! This one, I'm sure has a home, but he drops by to visit every morning! Fred West and I thank you for the fave!
@_catherine_ Oh I can't tell you how happy I am to see you here!!! I was taking photos of all the ferals gathered for breakfast and was considering sending it to you...yes...thinking of you! We have a brother of a best friend who's going to move into the house while we're away and he *adores* all the animals! He's got the lists of everyone's preferences, so they'll hardly notice our absence : ) I'm already looking forward to greeting "Fred The Original" up north! Hugs to you, sweet friend!
@summerfield@_catherine_ Ken came through and reminded me that I get lost in this letter-writing business and I have a PT coming soon... Hence the lack of comments on more of your photos as I duck out and pretend I've been up and alert since dawn..haha!
So glad that you are able to travel! Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could all meet up with one another one day. I have built up some great rapports with people on this site and it would be so special to actually meet in person. Safe travels and I look forward to seeing your pictures from Lunenburg.
@salza I never expected the camaraderie here to be so meaningful! I love seeing the gatherings-photos when people do get together. While on one hand, the idea of a "convention/reunion" would be fun, it wouldn't make for the close ties formed when a small group gathers to chat and take photos together... I have a best friend in Lunenburg who moved there from Durbin, so I'll have her show me all the places my SA friends live!

Happy 4th!! I am feeling pretty badly because apparently I have missed something. I don't have time to always read everyone's posts so I don't know what health issues you've been having lately. :( I am praying for you--not only for your health, but also for safe travels. Even though we have never met, I KNOW you are a blessing to me and many others.
@snowy Thanks, Diana! I feel as though we're straddling two countries so far this month! In California USA on "Canada Day" and in Canada today on America's 4th of July! That aside, we feel the love from friends around the world, receiving your greetings and being able to send out some of our own! ♥
Oh, sweet party feline!! They all flock to you as if you were St. Francis of Assisi.....which, in a lot of ways you are!! As sad as I feel for Fred West, I am equally delighted that Fred East will be in your arms again! Enjoy your time in Lunenberg....I think that place feeds your soul! I have not yet closed the door on a trip out there, but it might not happen this year.....still trying to fix our kitchen while making plans for Africa.....I already had to nix visiting my mom on this trip as it was getting too complicated. Missing you already...
