Friday night found us again with friends at The Ovens for a Steve Chapin performance, all tunes from the 30s and 40s! We invited our neighbours, Billy (L) and David to join us as the 16th is Billy's birthday. The concert was, to a note, *perfect*, so afterward I asked Steve if we might have a memento photo with the birthday boy (and that my birthday is the 19th.) With that, Phil, the drummer for all the shows we attend, stepped in and said his birthday is the 18th! So there you have it... Three Leos! I asked Steve when he celebrated, and it's December 31st. If you're ever up this way, his performances are not to be missed! And when he's back in the states for the winters, watch for him there...SO talented and a delight in the spotlight!
@chard Better! Yes, better! Here's a Math test like we used to have in grade school... Billy is one decade younger than Louise. Louise is two years older than Steve. How old is Phil?

@panthora You couldn't have said it more perfectly! Thinking back to my childhood (and, sitting next to another Leo-friend on Sunday we said simultaneously...) we never had many friends come to our parties as everyone was on vacation! Well, we seem to be making up for lost time! I have more friends with Leo birthdays than under any other sign! Late-July and August keep me very busy now and I get many birthday wishes in turn as well! "Ain't we got fun"
@Weezilou Hi, Louise....and, I just saw your reply to my comment on here (these do not appear in my emails, so sometimes I have to go hunt for them!!), and it is so, so very true!! I thought I was the only one whose birthday was hijacked by vacations, and none of my school friends were ever around at the islands where we vacationed! My brother, on the other hand, whose birthday is in early December, always had a birthday party with all his classmates. To this day it stings! I don't do parties as much as I like to get away, far far away, someplace I have never been, if I can help it on my birthday! So glad yours was so fabulous this year!! :-)))))
@panthora I suppose you could say, "I had my cake and ate it, too!" Here I am, "far far away" and I still managed to have the summer-long birthday party of a lifetime! I never again expect anything more like what I had this year!
