Beautiful light is this shot. The different colors on the leaves are gorgeous. When will you and Ken be back?

@parisouailleurs @pcarlaw @thirdjoe Thank you all! I can hardly get anything done for wanting to spend all my time capturing moments like this, morning to night! It will be gone soon, as will me, leaving Dec 9...boohoo! Joe, I'm counting on you and our 365 circle to make it fun to return! @brillomick And thanks for the fave, Mickey! That building is actually "tangerine" (set between "raspberry" and "chartreuse"!) They've become ubiquitous Lunenburg, but didn't the morning sun suck the colour out of the "orange"!

Oh, that does speak to me of Autumn. Lovely image.

@jamibann When I was studying colour theory, it was so easy to envision these colours on a red head! IMHO, you could pull a palette from this photo alone! Thanks for the visit!

Beautiful, I have slowly started excepting utility lines are as much a part of photo as the main subject. Fall colors so far for me around Nashville,TN area are just not happening this year. Really like your exposure.

A lovely morning in "your neck of the woods" Louise. Can I come with you and I think I'd like to take a pass on winter this year. Beautiful capture of the wonderful warmth of the fall colours. :)

I love the light in this shot. How it bring out the beautiful colors on the houses and tree. Great eye to capture this loveliness!

@novab Can you keep an open-ended ticket handy when the worst is on its way? Our coolest days there are warmer than last night! You'd be more-than-welcome company!

October 19th, 2015
what a great capture. I would have been tempted to just sit on that seat and watch it all unfold

@cruiser I somewhat did! I can watch the park from my desk, and marked the three weeks from start to going-going-gone (at which time the 3 weeks are over on the 22nd!) Add the tranquil beauty of a horse carriage going by and it's all terribly distracting (in a good way!)
October 20th, 2015
Wow! Beautiful landscape. The light and shade is great. Fav.
October 20th, 2015
Such a fairy land! I want to live there.
