OK...no lovely settings for our get together, but you'd forgive us if you knew of the squall that was raging just outside! Nova @novab met us in a wonderful Irish pub for a delicious lunch, and we had a couple of hours to visit again. It was a day on which it was impossible to stay dry, and the couple of times we stopped on the way home for a photo outside the car, the wind & rain blew right at my camera lens...hence, me as well!
This was the best I could come up with that included the three of us...a photo I like, but not much, artistically speaking! On a better day we're going on a photo shoot around her neighbourhood, and then I'll do better justice to us all!
It was a great visit and I am so happy to have an opportunity to catch up on life with you & Ken. Bill we'd be happy to have you and V join us again. :) @bill_fe
Friendship and bonding.... Well done. Surely wish we'd get some of your rain. We're heading over to AZ. with our church campers today..... Tombstone, Kartchner Caverns, etc. Back in about ten days.
@jack4john Oh John...that's too wonderful! You perhaps have NO IDEA that your name came up in our conversation as we sat here! Nova mentioned "John, with the wonderful images..." and I chimed back, "John Morley!" Only fitting that you should have joined us in such a way in this pub as I told her you were from Galway! AND, we discussed at some length the way you get your amazing images!
@aglennc Have a wonderful trip! Several times yesterday I said to Ken I so wished I could send this rain your way! It was TOO much, even for us here! And yet today, sunny, mild and gorgeous! Go figure!
@kelly2 Oh that comment makes me laugh!!! Our cruise was about to head to Cork when "some Irish Mist" was going to cause a severe delay and a lot of seasick passengers (so the Captain said!) and we ended up in Spain instead!
Are you talking to me, or @summerfield or both? :-P
