This will be our last Nova Scotia Full Moon for the year, and back in California, we're unlikely to find pine-tree rimmed hillsides, tawney year-end grasses or water reflections in the harbour. And back in California, they won't spell "harbour" with a "u". On this, our Thanksgiving Eve (which won't be celebrated here in Canada) I had to savour every moment of this gorgeous occasion. Tomorrow we'll be roasting a turkey (on the barbeque) unlike most Canadians this time of year, and we've invited a neighbour and best friend to share "our feast" and show them how the Americans do it. We're also trimming a tree we cut down on our lot, because that's what the Canadians are doing this weekend. We live in two wonderful worlds and always try to find the best in both.
To my American friends, *Happy Thanksgiving*! To all others, I wish I could share it with you, but will try to make the time to send you a picture postcard! Happy Turkey Day!
What a fabulous moon shot collage! Love it! Wishing you and Ken a wonderful Thanksgiving whenever and wherever you celebrate it! When do you travel home to California where they spell harbour without the U! Just one of those differences in lifestyle that you experience! You get the best of both worlds! Safe journey!
@pamknowler Thanks, Pam! Travel day is the 9th, but the calendar is filled to overflowing up until then! Looking forward to sleeping on the plane as our daughter & grands arrive the next morning & we all have two parties to attend the weekend! (Someday I'll just wear out and fall over sideways!) Thanks for the love! ♥

@danette@kwind@redy4et Thank you ladies! Kim, Danette, Elizabeth and I will be thinking of you as we "gobble" our turkey... my second Thanksgiving of the year!
Very, very pretty, Louise! Do I sense a bit of sadness at this being your last full moon? Nova Scotia is so special isn't it? But on a brighter note, did you celebrate Thanksgiving with the Canadians? You can have your turkey and eat it too can't you?
great moon pics. I was driving home with L. last night and we saw the most gorgeous orange moon rising; so happy someone captured it in a picture. Happy Thanksgiving!
