NEWSFLASH! 365 Photographers go on Safari in Sunny San Diego!
Meet some of your Southern California photographers who gathered at San Diego's "Safari Park" (formerly known as "Wild Animal Park") for a day of what might be erroneously known as "Shooting Animals"! We came home with cameras full of trophies, but no animals were injured during the shoot-out!
Having said that, these captures may someday be hung on a wall to be admired by all, and the stories retold of the thrilling day spent on the hunt for that perfect shot!

FYI, Elizabeth @redy4et would normally have joined us on this day, but she & her husband are celebrating an anniversary in Costa Rica http://365project.org/redy4et/365 I just wanted her to know we didn't forget her!

Love the collage! So glad Egle (Damfino) could join us. She is so sweet and photographic. Ken looks like the park ranger for Yellowstone. lol! I meant that in the nicest way Ken!

@pamknowler You probably know I'm good for another of these come May! @joysfocus Yes, he does look like a forest ranger here! That's a new one for his growing list of "people he looks like"! @allie912 To have met in this somewhat fluid way, it's quite wonderful that we all have such a great deal in common even beyond photography.

@summerfield You're going to get whiplash, dear little buddy! Me'thinks you'd just especially like to be wherever the good times are happening?! Who would blame you! Plan a trip here, too! We certainly have a lot of people for you to meet! AND...this should please you...yesterday Joy asked me if you were an actress :) Clearly your talent as such bounces off the pages and you have everyone believing it! See, "Docent" would be a well-suited profession-after-retirement!
@Weezilou - well, i did play "portia" in the merchant of venice when i was in college, as well as "francesca" in *a filipino in new york*. i could've been a stage actress if i had kept from giggling at the stark naked lead actor in a play i now forgot the title (it will come back to mind later on). so i could've would've should've been an actress maybe perhaps. :-) thanks, joy.
OMG -- What a great title for this, Louise. You are so creative and clever with your comments, titles, etc. What an awesome collage and dialogue this is. Yes, we did have an enjoyable, fun day. This has got to be a fav for me -- if for no other reason than to remind me what a great time with good 365 friends we had. Yes, Ken does look like a park ranger here.....
Wow! Great collage of a fun day! Thanks for the mention and sorry again that I missed the outing. Yes, we're in Costa Rica relaxing...it's been so hot (95 degrees) that about all we're doing is lounging by the water. Not that I'm complaining. We did see a Toucan and a howler monkey way up in the tree canopy on a hike. WiFi isn't great everywhere here so posting is touch and go.
@pyrrhula You wouldn't be alone in THIS circle! There were times we had to break away from the lively conversation to get some pictures taken! That said, a solitary day in the country, as you had, would be a lovely time to observe, photograph and think!
Oh, what fun and what a lovely collage of all of you have a grand time together. I really wish I could have been there with you all and now I can't wait to go look at all of the photos! FAV!
@gaylewood Well, Gayle, I think no comment could have made my happier! This group teases that I'm somewhat "The Social Director", but being in town only a partial year, it's selfish as well that I, too, want to see everyone!

I have a feeling that "Ranger Ken" is going to stick. ;-) Great collage, Louise. Oh, and since we're all posting our thespian resumes, I once played Eeyore in Christopher Robin Goes to the North Pole!

Ken's and my "thespian skills" are less than zero! (On stage, however, I narrated two fashion shows when I was in college (majoring in Fashion Design...) (sort of falls flat, doesn't it?!)
