We three are immediate neighbors and consider ourselves so fortunate that it's been so for many many years. Tonight I suggested we have dinner down by the beach, not knowing that Saturday will be Avis' birthday (she's on the right, in red). We couldn't have planned it better, and with Barbara, and all our husbands, had such a happy time!
It was a lovely break from building Ashley's calendar (did I say I fill every date with a photo? It becomes a book really...). There's dinner and a play with friends tomorrow night , a very small medical procedure Thursday morning before Ashley & the kids arrive by train. By Saturday everyone's here and I'm having a patio party Sunday.
This is your heads up that you may possibly not hear much from me for awhile, though I'll try to reply to comments when possible. Not really away...just going to be sorta busy (moreso than usual!)
