Here, closing in on our final days in California, I was happy to have any opportunities to see my little friend another time or two. Greg reported today that Marshmallow's a regular visitor and he curled up on the dam between pool & spa for 2 hours a night or two ago (May 14, perhaps)
Meanwhile on the east coast, we had a huge raccoon on the porch the first night we were back...it's tan with a stubby tail. If I can befriend it, expect more photos, and I hope I'm not boring you all to tears! Fell free to pass this by, but I'm trying to fill most slots. There wasn't time for much photography before leaving, so the choices are slim ...
@cruiser truly, Chris! He takes as much pleasure in it as I do...and I love that he calls to relate the stories! It's almost as though I haven't left! Here, now, I'm waiting to engage the lovely, fat raccoon I saw the first night here. I leave him food topped with a marshmallow, and it's all gone in the morning, so I know he's coming by, but he outlasts me and I eventually have to get some sleep!
@gaylewood Thank you! I'll be sure you'll see our summer visitors after we settle in... @gilbertwood I looked forward to his visit each evening, so yes, I do miss that interaction... @jamibann It's such an ordinary photo, I had to have a play with it... Thanks! @frappa77@golftragic Thank you for stopping by!
@francoise He's young still. I agree however that they can grow mightily! When I get photos, you'll be more impressed with the size of the fellow on our porch here in NS! Friendliness, however, goes a long way with me (as pictured here!)
