"Yes, and I love you, too..." by Weezilou

"Yes, and I love you, too..."

This was our second day together and I asked our tour guide if he's get a photo of the group of us (thank you, Michael!) It wasn't long before the group began to notice (and comment) that I like group photos when friends get together. I won't apologize...I'm delighted to have them all as individuals came and went each day, so the mix changed.

The title? I was petting and talking to the horse before everyone settled for the photo. Our guide, Michael, suggested we shouldn't pet the horse, but when I stopped, sweet horse took my coat sleeve in his teeth as the photo was snapped! I quite loved that moment!
You are so smart to take group photos.

It is such a pleasure to look back on group photos. What is it about you and animals, Louise? If it's not Frosty or Marshmallow, or a crow, it's a horse.

BTW I rode a horse to school when I was six - loved my horse :)

@danette It's one way to guarantee everyone's standing still for a few minutes! Ken jokes about everyone heading off in different directions and it's like trying to heard cats!

@ethelperry ...I marvel at it myself...what can I say! I do love them, and treat them as I'd wish to be treated... And what fun to think of you as a little girl, riding your horse to school! If you happened to have a photo to go with that, I know we'd all love to hear how far you rode, where you tied up the horse and the size of the school. Also, did other children ride in? If it was rural Australia, we'd all imagine what it must have been like! What fun! ♥

@summerfield OMG you sound like Heather! She saw me and said, "White pants... in the city...in the rain???" White Pants" It's a California-regional thing... What's a tourist to do?!

@summerfield PS...that coat hadn't seen the light of day in years! Heather had to remind me I had it and to bring it to Chicago! (I'd forgotten there was such a thing as rain!)

Funny, that you needed to be reminded about the rain. :) Adorable. Herding cats is about right!

That horse had a thing for you, quite clearly! Well done with getting all the group photos.

@taffy haha..I *always* take a razzing about organizing group photos, but I just know everyone enjoys having them at the end of the day! Well, *I* do...and I share :)

Of course the horse nuzzled up to you, you're an animal whisperer, and they know. Love the group shot, great memories.

Hahaha I echo others' sentiments, of course the horse would go to you!!! :) And of course you're smiling ear to ear :) Love it!

Like a,bee to a honeypot Louise that's you and animals! This horse was on the other side of the square from where we were standing and yes you did well to "round" us all up for the mug shot! Another "bag lady" shot - I normally like to hide behind everyone! Lol!

A lovely group picture, hope your coat survived

My first reaction is same as vikki's: what a brave woman to wear white.

Lovely groupie, with added human-eating horse! ;-)

@noko411 OMG! LOL!!! perfect!

@francoise "Brave" likely gives me too much credit! More likely, completely clueless regarding such things; we don't get much rain in CA! @snowy This coat is as old as the hills, but was never worn much, so I'm sure it will continue to fill much-needed space in my closet...waiting for that next rain!

Impossible to resist to your sweet and friendly smile Louise!
