,,,yes, I live in their midst! Until a few days ago, this little fellow was nameless to us, but grandson, Dylan, called him "Bandit" and, since coming to know him better, it's a hugely appropriate name! We may get to that in the days ahead, but on these first encounters, we were getting to know one another. Cute as ever, they are...
What a GREAT capture of this little guy. Do't often see shots lie this on 365. Well done! Are you back here in CA now?? Thought you were staying in NS through October or so.....
@aglennc My backyard in California is not the ONLY place one sees raccoons! We won't be back until September "for a brief visit", but meanwhile this area is on overload with raccoons!
@maggiemae Not really or typically "a fighting animal". While I wouldn't try to jump in and scoop one up. I now sit out almost next to them while they eat and take dozens of photos almost nightly. They're very cute, but they are (as Allie said), "rascals" and we keep an eye on them!
@Weezilou No kidding?!! The wildlife just seem to know where you are and follow you there. I figured NS would have raccoons, but in your yard just as in CA?? You cant get away from them.
At last! I have been waiting to see your nightly visitor! What a beauty! Oh wow I hope he is still visiting when I come over to see you! You know where I will be! Lol! Huge Fav!
