My days in Lunenburg have been crazy-wonderful-busy-fun, but I had to share the beauty of our moonrise tonight. We were at a music venue, watching the clock as we knew the moon would rise at 9:14. Everyone around here understands what I'm about, so we said good-night and headed to my preselected location...and watched the moon rise up from the ocean! (A young man from Quebec ran up to our spot and took some pictures, but couldn't zoom in much. I offered him the use of the tripod, but he said he wanted to see what I got.) From there we went atop a hill by the golf course and in minutes, the moon rose again for us, from behind the trees! More photos...we were so happy with what we were seeing! AND, we still had time to get to one other location and watched it rise again! Amazing! This could never happen for me like this where we live in California, not to mention the ambient light!
I think I'll post a couple more...it was such a gift!
Not that I don't love hearing from everyone and really appreciate the comments you leave, but I have zero time to look through photos at the moment...I hardly have time to go through all of mine! Don't worry about leaving comments; I just wanted to share1
watching the moon rise, ever so slowly and dramatically from the water is to me so much like communing with God, much like when you're underneath the mighty force of niagara falls. it makes you acknowledge there is someone supreme who made these happen. i would love to watch the moon rise from the ocean. one day. one day. this is awesome, my friend. thank you for sharing!♥
@kevin365 xox, my dear friend! You don't listen well, but I can't think of a nicer person to reply to!
and miss Vikki @summerfield Yes...a spiritual moment when you're an observer of Nature's Majesty! Ken and I kept talking about how we couldn't believe we were able to share moments like this...100% magical, and a blessing we acknowledged. ♥ and see you in a month!
Just perfect! Like Vikki @summerfield I have never had the opportunity to watch the moon rising from the sea. What a magical moment! When I come in October I wonder what the moon will be doing? Lol! Fav!
