The Royal Canadian Mounties always get their man (or woman, in this instance!)
In the last hour on the last afternoon, Pam and I felt we'd gotten every conceivable holiday photo one needs to take home from Nova Scotia. I'd just taken her photo on the front steps of "The Purple House" when here comes "A Mountie"! I wave and single him to stop, and didn't I catch a lovely, smiling man?! I could only say he was most "bemused" when I said I wanted to send my friend back to England with her Mountie photo. We actually chatted a bit...he's from P.E.I. but took his first assignment in Newfoundland and now he's in Nova Scotia.
It was all too fun! LOVE this little town! I think Pam would agree that every note of her visit was pitch-perfect! Certainly Ken and I wouldn't have changed a thing!
There I was climbing the steps of the house for my photo and when I looked round there is Louise in the middle of the road with the policeman!! I thought she was being told off for jaywalking - well she was in the middle of the road!! LOL!! Well I got my Mountie (such a shame he wasn't in the red uniform but you can't have everything!!) Such a fun ending to my last day in Lunenburg!! As Louise says the trip was pitch perfect!! Another successful 365 meet up!! Fav for such a fun time!!
wonderful! glad to know pam @pamknowler enjoyed every minute of her visit, as she should. the place is beautiful, the scenery is wonderful, and the hosts are the greatest hands down!
@kevin365@lifepause We'll be back in business by June next year ; ) This calendar year is filled to the brim to the end (Dec 2!) WHERE has the time gone?! But about next year, ...seriously!
