This gorgeous pachyderm was entertaining me and my camera while I watched her at the Santa Barbara Zoo. Ken was off with the boys, and the zoo was nearly empty, so I enjoyed the fan dance with branches and leaves.
It bears mentioning that there's so much beauty, charm and grace in that aged face, we might all learn a thing or two from this lady.
@aglennc Thank you for that, Anita! I was loving the time alone, standing there! and Rick @digitalrn I also, later, set the camera to take some series of photos and made a gif image of her playing with the branches!
@joysfocus I thought of you those two days at the zoo...thought of how fortunate I thought you were that you could go for a wander there when you wished. With the kids there, we buy a membership, so *maybe* we'll get there again while visiting for Christmas... It was such a restful place on a weekday afternoon when most kids were in school!
