Same ol' same ol' ducks... I fully understand there's not a lot to say about "the same ducks in the same pool" so frequently. Thanks for looking in to see what I'm up to, though... Now go leave a comment for someone who's posted something exceptional...seriously!
We will be going out tomorrow. I'll keep my eye open for something entirely different!
Move over January... here comes Valentine's month!
@naomi Naomi, *Thank You*...brilliant reply! Of course... and here, a view from my window on an otherwise "ordinary" day! This is a view I'm always grateful for! ♥
@danette I flipped it "just to see" and it's "pretty cool" but hardly an act sophisticated enough for the 365 crowd! And yes, they hardly moved that morning..."shooting fish in a barrel" as they say!
@pamknowler After a few dozen shots as they drifted toward one another and back again, I'm thinking, OK, no challenge there. Might play with colours or something dramatic as I do love the images! (How's your layering coming along? Are your building them in PS? I can talk you through some of it over the phone (like resizing) if you wish...
Thanks for the offer Louise and I may take you up on that in the next week or so- I have been a bit sidetracked today as I went to Sarah's house to play with wine glasses of coloured water sloshing and water balloons bursting plus some light photography which blew me away! Have a look at my uploads today and see what you think. I will be getting back to layers soon.
Just curioius -- do these pets of yours ever do their doo in your pool, and what does it take to clean it up Can't believe all the photo ops your back yard provides. Incredible.
I dont know about anyone else...but I dont even have a pool let alone ducks in my pool. therefor there is nothing "some old"about this photo :) This is a super close up my friend.
@colorfade Well, thanks, Andrea! The pool's close by so the ducks are as well. Of course I zoom in, but I don't need to crop. The fun part is they'll be in the pool when we get up in the morning and wait for us to fill the tray...come right over as we turn to walk away!
@aglennc Surprisingly, the back stays pretty clean. If the ducks stay too long, Ken brushes down the pool when they leave...which he's known to encourage eventually! We keep the chemicals balanced and have a pool service to clean every week. Funny, I never thought I could take so many backyard photos, but now, of necessity, I've surprised even myself!
@taffy Why thank you Miss Taffy! I just laugh and laugh that I can "slap a photo up" and all these nice folks come to visit me...which I'm enjoying immensely, of course! I suppose, "What's not to love about a duck"!
Good to see that you'll be getting out and about today! Enjoy!
