It was an Icy-Cold Dream by Weezilou

It was an Icy-Cold Dream

At last I have more time to play with images, and I was captivated with the new 5+2 theme. I'll answer the burning question about that piano: I began with the photo of the piano on the beach outside a restaurant in the Magdalene Islands, a part of Quebec. The rest were pieces of images that I thought would push that surreal photo of a piano seen on the beach at night!
You look more ghostly in this version or should I say more like a heavenly being! Wonderful expression on your face as you carry the world aloft! Definitely out of this world! Fav!

@pamknowler Thank you my sweet friend! I was totally displeased with my last image...still a work in progress, but liking this better! I've saved all the layers, so when I no longer have to include a selfie, there's no telling what might show up on the shoreline!

Heavenly indeed! What a cool image you've made. I like the inclusion of those SoCal snow-capped hills.

You are a creative soul Louise and you do it well

A lot of work and imagination. Maybe the melody from the piano is permeating your dreams and resonating through the universe.

And what are you smoking today? All joking aside, a wonderful fantasy right out of Peter Max or Lewis Carroll.

Really well done!

@allie912 LOL! *Never ever* is my reply...and maybe I'd have done better if I had...who knows! But thank you for the compliment and high-comparison praise. I always start with one image and begin to build on it...I'm not always sure where I'm headed! (I did know I wanted to also use that large zodiac piece I downloaded over a year ago -and I've used it here before)

@jamibann You've been paying attention ; ) They seemed so fitting! Thanks...thanks a lot!

@annied Thank you Annie. I had art teachers who sometimes gave me a hard way to go, but hey, I'm still here and loving what I do!

@ethelperry I like the thoughts you bring to this image, Ethel. Clearly I didn't want to disturb the piano image, and I do love music, and to think of it permeating the universe is a lovely idea!

@summerfield Wow, Vikki, I wouldn't have thought I could teach you anything! Your piece was wonderful! It helps to be housebound for a change so I have a few days at a stretch to "make art"! I'm *really* loving that!

@seattlite @francoise @laurieewilson @taffy @quietpurplehaze Thank you ladies! Happy to have something different to share with you, as I always enjoy the variety in your photography!

Five stars for this fabulous dreamlike image, Louise! Love the piano on the beach as the anchoring component with everything else fitting with surreal perfection!

You played! You played along! :) I'm glad that it captivated you, this is a very fun image. You once said something about people getting in their role for a shot but that's exactly what you did here, way to play the part!

hahaha this one is so cool! :D :D Really creative!!

@kerosene Tada! I always want to, but more often than not, I can't think of a way to relate! At the outset I knew I had that zodiac map and went from there! I'm a fully unbelievable "actress"...couldn't fool anyone with as much as a lie! Pretty much not pleased with myself that I did the villain picture, but what the heck. I do consider the theme every week actually! So thanks for the back-pat, darlin'!

@petaqui Only an hour ago I found a framed quote in my art room that I hadn't seen in years! It suits ALL of us, I think:

"Use the talents you possess.
If only the best birds sang,
The woods would be silent."

I had fun, was was using "what talents I possess" ; )
