Blending In by Weezilou

Blending In

"Stripy" who became "Tigerpuss" and then "Tigger" has blended in with the family. If he does have "an original home" to return to, they may be surprised to see his front leg shaved as he was "knocked out" for a bit and had his teeth cleaned and all his shots. He shows no inclination to leave at all. Perhaps I said it already, but when I looked back through my photos, I was surprised to see that he was already stepping into the house, and I'd tagged him with a name, alluding to my foundlings in Lunenburg:

(Looking back, I think he looks very young there ... 8 mo maybe.) Someone's missing a really good cat!

---I was under the weather yesterday...went to bed about 8, thinking I didn't have anything to post for the day. The following morning I found this, still on the camera, and for me, a worthy depiction of my little friend.
I hope you feel better soon! What a lovely looking cat, a very good friend I'd imagine.

@naomi Thanks Naomi! This cat is such a people cat...asleep at my feet as I write here, and sleeps on the bed with us at night. More amazingly, we already had a house cat when he came along, and they took to one another immediately. Some things are meant to be, I suppose. He's a gem!

Chances are some one took a kitten than found out there is work to pets.

@joansmor Their loss, then ...and shame on them! We've put our money down on him and he's SO worth it! Thanks, Joan!

Sometimes the story and comments are as nice as the pic.

@Weezilou That's good! I think cats are amazing creatures, can't wait until I live somewhere I can have one :)

He is elegant and looks the picture of good health. What a lucky boy to have become part of your family.

He's very much at home with you Louise, don't think he'll be leaving any time soon. Is he eyeing off the ducks in this shot?

Beautiful

@golftragic nope...that would be to the left of the photo! He has been known to rush them into the pool! And no, I used to call him "nmc/Not My Cat" but that no longer fits!

@Weezilou Nope, home is clearly with you and Ken.

Oh he is such a beautiful boy and he knows he is loved and that you are taking such good care of him! What are you going to do when it's Lunenburg time? He will miss you so much! Fav for such a gorgeous boy!

@pamknowler Greg will love on him just as much as we do, trust me! Of course I think *I* am the one who'll be worse of without *him*! Sounds weird, but I've had some loving cats, but never one this overtly adoring us the way he does! He's way more like a dog! We will be going to Carp to look after the boys while Ash & John take a little trip, so it will be a short opportunity to see how he does with Greg. Thank you for loving his cuteness like we do!
