Ashley said the boys had been asking for days to come visit us, and with no sign of rain they came down today. They certainly boost our happiness factor!
Ken baked them banana bread....
They swam...
We read books, and broke out all the toys in the living room...
We went to visit the neighbors who have "a cute cat attraction worth visiting!"...
They made art projects...
Brushed their teeth, were read a story and went to sleep.
They told us they want us to come move next door to them!
@cruiser I don't think I realized how much I'd missed them! "Laying low" after the surgery, I'd just focused on relaxing, but it was so great to have their energy back in the house again!
@lynnz You got that, Lynn! And a noticeable change since Christmas is that they're sweetly compliant when I ask for a nice photo of them!
Such darling boys Louise! You are so very lucky and those boys are truly blessed to have such loving grandparents! What a fabulous day for you all- it sounds like such fun! Lovely to see them posing nicely for you too! Fav !
@pamknowler More going on than I've experienced in a month! Thanks so much, Pam. We're like all the other grandparents in this world, so I hate to carry on about my babies, but I'm certainly going to record their visits! They're awfully special to us!
@tunia ...funny you say that! It was almost 1 AM when Pam @pamknowler asked what I was still doing up! (You know how we check on one another around the world!). Because I'd done so much with the biys, I was happy to have quiet time in front of the computer after everyone was in bed! I did get to sleep in this morning, however!
@taffy Thanks, Taffy! I didn't realize that being with them I'd be "exerting", but it was so great to have them here, and I think I need a few more boosts of that! We'll go up there soon!
