Teacher Appreciation

Over the course of Parent's Weekend, John meets with the visiting parents to discuss their youngster's progress and answer questions. As the parents come from around the world, we love to see the gifts they bring to him! This is just a bit of what he received, and now I've got to find out where I can buy the "Jo Malone" women's cologne! It was fabulous! (John had received the after shave...)

The weeks ahead are leading up to our departure for the summer, and there's a lot to be done! I'd like to keep posting some pictures so I don't fall further behind, but I can't be fully engaged for a while. I know you'll understand, and if I can't be by regularly, I'll strive to catch up from back in Nova Scotia! Thanks!
What lovely gifts to show their appreciation! I'll keep an eye out for the Jo Malone perfume - I am sure I saw some recently. You have a busy time ahead Louise and everyone understands why you won't be so active on 365! Don't stress just do what you have to do - always such a big upheaval for you spending half the yesr in a diffferent country! I have enough trouble packing for a fortnights holidmsy! Lol! Fav!

Neiman's carries Jo Malone. It is just such an elegant perfume. What a lovely tradition, to gift your future teacher! Well there are 24 hours in each day, you will get from beautiful Southern California to fabulous Nova Scotia in no time. Life really is one day at a time. Remember to breathe, sweet friend.

It`s a pitty violins/pansies don`t live long on a vase. I`ve them in a jar/pot near the frontdoor in our garden . They do very well in winter time.

@pyrrhula Ferry, you are a well-loved member of this community, and I think you make yourself very understandable when you write to us! My native language is English, and I studied Spanish, but even in that language I don't do as well as you do! I always enjoy hearing from you and anything you wish to say!

Thanks you for the "well wishes" as we get ready to travel to Nova Scotia! I'm going to have a lot more photos of things more interesting when we get there!

And yes, we too have pansies in the garden outside, both in California and in NS...they're both pleasing and ensy to raise. Also, my friend LOVED your picture of the field of gold and burgundy flowers! I thought you'd be pleased that I shared it! ♥ to you and Ina ...
