Front Row Balcony by Weezilou

Front Row Balcony

This little fellow had been eating when I went out to refill his dish. He didn't go far, but first stretched out on a branch to watch me and, when I got my camera, checked to see what I was up to. I'll never know what was going through his mind, but he didn't appear to be greatly afraid!

Besides Posh, I've been able to identify two different males as well who frequent the dining table.
adorable. Squirrels are so cute and fun to photograph

Such a lovely image! Watching what you are doing! I love the relationship you have with the squirrels! Fav!

Who spoils them while you are gone? Or do the poor deprived creatures have to fend for themselves?

@allie912 North OR south, we never leave our little friends without the supervision they've become accustomed to! We have someone stay at the house for many reasons, but he loves the animals and will treat them as well as I do. No one goes missing in our absence and he even sends us photos! Thanks for caring to ask!

@allie912 I should take a photo of the dressing room off the garage...it looks like a warehouse at a pet shop!

@littleconnie This is the ornamental pear (we call it that, too) in our yard & why I easily identified the leaves you photographed

What a lovely image. Squirrels are certainly cute subjects to photograph. Wish we had them.
Your ornamental pear tree is a lot greener than ours at the moment.

@littleconnie Heading into summer and not into autumn! Thanks, Connie. The squirrels do have funny little personalities and even tease and play with the cats!

Wonderful. I have been trying to help a baby opossum, which keeps showing up n or backyard....way too young to be on it's own. So hoping it makes it.

@laurieewilson I hope your little possum makes it. Years ago I tried, but without success. So sad for all the little family... (Fingers crossed!)

He knew you were feeding him. Just love the colors and textures in this.

Sweet shot! I love your description of the pet store warehouse, how fun and kind you are! No wonder your animals never leave you!

@Weezilou I know. I read they are to have 50 teeth when weaned, but this little guy has 2 with the others coming in barely. I will post it's photo today. I sprinkled meal worms around all of our beds...so, hopefully it got some. :-)
