Childhood: Tomorrow's Memories by Weezilou

Childhood: Tomorrow's Memories

All my photos today were with my new Macro/Portrait lens. While I bought it to have a macro, I'm *loving* it for portraiture! Most of the pictures were of a vertical nature and posed, but I was curious to see what other capabilities were possible.

Ashley let Ashton use her phone to play a motorcycle-race game, and when the boys slip away into their own far-away world, the focused images come so easily!
Fabulous candid, love that far-away gaze on the screen.

A great candid capture Louise. I'm sure you will really enjoy all that your new macro will do. I'd be happy to bring mine along when we next meet. :)

@tunia Thank you, Beautiful Lady, with your own lovely sprinkle of freckles! (Our side of the family was devoid of freckled faces, but we love that Ashton carries them as his handsome dad does!)

@haskar Thank you for your lovely compliment!

This is an awesome, clear shot of him. Excellent expressions. By the way, it looks like little brother has been grubbing on something sweet.

Wonderful portrait and expressions. I think you are going to have fun with your new lens :)

@cjphoto Thanks so much, Chris! When at "Grandma's", they're indulged with all the goodies mom meters out only sparingly! I often have to photoshop "grub" off his face, but let it go this time!

@Weezilou - Hahahaha I don't know why I found photoshopping the grub off his face so funny! You sound like a really fun grandma! :)

Fabulous capture. Love the intense concentration on their faces.

@cjphoto I love your infectious delight, Chris! I got a late start as a grandma, so I'm going to give it all I've got while I last! (Not that this has anything to do with the comment, but Dylan, the little one, loves to create art projects! I have an art room packed to the brim with supplies for every project I undertook. He said to me the other day, "I LOVE your art room Grandma", because he's welcome to use absolutely anything he wants in there! If it's something I would have loved, I want them to have access to it as well! Young, creative souls...much like you!...are just the best!)

It's easy to tell that you love being a grandmother to bits! That's awesome he's so creative at a young age and that he's able to have free rein in your art room. It sounds like my kind of place! :D
