Sightseeing & Making New Friends Along the Way...

Pam just posted a lovely photo of this 'berg (we're so familiar with them now we call them by nickname : ) so I'm going to show you what it was like to stand there looking at it! As we set out for the morning, we noticed this had moved closer over night. As we were taking our photos, these women joined us for their photos, one from Ontario, and her friends from Ireland. We were all so takenwith the opportunity to be in Newfoundland and seeing such amazing sights, we struck upconversations andwhere having a lovely chat when the car horn honked... Ken suggested that if we wanted to see all we'd planned for, we needed to get underway!

We find that fellow travelers all want to share their enthusiasm and local people LOVE to chat with visitors. This was not (by far) the only chat we had today!

*** I'll be forever catching up! The sights and the photos are turning out fabulously well! Bear with me, please. Ken suggests our first stop upon returning to Nova Scotia might be to purchase me a new computer... "Up-and-Running" is never as fast as it sounds!

Be sure to check out Pam's photos for different viewpoints on our days together!

**Wish You Were Here**

ALWAYS the most wonderful memories of travel are the people you meet - and Canadians are even more extra special.

I love this perspective! Really makes you realize how small we are in comparison to the world, and yet we leave such large footprints.
