Not that we couldn't do this, but it's not an off-the-cuff occasion done in this casual Maritime manner! Our friend, Mike, wanted Pam to have this experience, so he boiled up the lobster, laid the table with newspaper, set out butter, rolls and potato salad, and we rolled up our sleeves and dug in! A work colleague, also, Mike, joined us, and the gathered company was as good as the meal!
how scrumptious . I love it but I am afraid I just cant come at pulling either lobster or prawns to pieces and have get someone else to do it for me. Maybe its their eyes !
@cruiser I understand! I won't cook them...just couldn't!...but I'm fine at this point! I do accept assistance to crack them open...and then, get out of my way!!!
Oh louise what a lovely surprise as I scrolled down! Such fantastic memories of a wonderful evening! The lobster was delicious and yes I did need help cracking those huge claws! The company was even better and I was so pleased to be in Mike's beautiful house again! I note also how you have photoshopped yourself into the shot! Well done you would never know that you were not standing there with us but actually taking the photo! A huge Fav for this great collage!
@Weezilou -- you photoshopped yourself in??? How fun! And my, those lobster claws! How soon can I get up there for all the fun you have with your guests? (Although I think @pamknowler is turning into a family member . . . )
@jyokota LOL...I believe you've broken the code! She's a wonderful house guest who walks to the same drummer we do, so she's always welcome! @pamknowler Only YOU can determine how soon you're ready to book in! We do manage to have a good time!
@jyokota@Weezilou one of my favourite places with my favourite people! The perfect combination! Throw in a fabulous lobster dinner and I am in heaven! Lol! Love to you both! Xxx
Good food and good company what else can you ask you!!
