I don't mean to insult you by suggesting you comment on so meager a photo! After Pam's visit and the hundreds of photos I was taking daily, we finally had our only free time of the summer, and clearly I must have spent it unpacking, getting settled in and NOT taking photos! I have no idea now why I even took this one! I could have selected a photo from another day, but, as a diary for myself, this speaks to me of being too busy to do any photography...
Sometimes, real life gets in the way of taking photos. Never apologize for that - we've all had it happen! Slow down, take a deep breath and savour the moments. Then pick up the camera again ...when you're ready. And we'll be waiting for you.
I think you must have been exhausted after my visit and needed a break for taking photos!! As if!! You make me laugh as even when you are supposed to take it easy you manage to fill your time with so many exciting things!! So the photos took the back burner for a short while and then you came back with a bang!! Big hug xxx
@cruiser Hi Chris! Came home on the 15th and had cataract surgery yesterday. Have to wait for it to heal before getting new glasses. Awaiting a couple more med procedures and then head back to CA on Oct 5...I don't stay put for long! Thanks for thinking of me and my best to you as well! ♥

@elkereturns Thank you Elke! You voiced what we all know around here! Still we all make our apologies, and I feel as though I've overlooked my friends and their photography far more than I should. Pam, for one, @pamknowler can tell you that if you come over for a visit, you'll have my undivided attention, but it precludes very much computer time! Currently I'm home, just had cataract surgery yesterday, but can see well enough to type, so I'll catch up here at least a little! Trust me, you, Elke, and all my other friends on 365 are never far from my mind! I need an identical twin I might boss around to help me out! ♥

@golftragic I'm actually amazed at how well I feel and am doing just one day past surgery! When all else fails and I need to "rest" (haha what's rest?!) I can dictate my notes! Thanks, m'friend!
I love using photos as a diary. Now that I store mine on Amazon Prime, the app provides a gallery of photos taken on the day for each year that I have stored. It is a wonderful way to relive my memories.
