No Shy Violets Need Apply ...

I love the grand size of summer peonies, poppies and huge sunflowers! It doesn't take many to fill the biggest vase or pitcher, and they smell divine!
Beautiful! Love the blue glass and the flower is captured well. Fav.

The Netherlands once again became one of the largest exporters, second world-wide after the United States, of agricultural products. We must hold this headline. This can be done only if we continue to work on knowledge and innovation. The Netherlands has beautiful examples of innovative companies. Thus, four of the largest plant seed producers are located in the Netherlands. The Netherlands is also the market leader in the export of milking robots. All examples of innovation where the rest of the world is very interested. "\
The Netherlands exported more agricultural products in 2015 than in 2014. Total exports in 2015 amounted to 82.4 billion euros. Compared with 2014, this is an increase of 700 million euros (almost 1 percent). Germany remains the most important trading partner within the European Union. This was announced by Secretary of State Van Dam of Economic Affairs at the international agricultural fair GrĂ¼ne Woche in Berlin. The figures that are now being presented are estimates made by LEI Wageningen UR. The final export figures follow as every year in summer. Agricultural exports are 18.8 percent of total Dutch exports, which amounted to 438 billion euros in 2015

@pyrrhula You're an amazing source of information, Ferry! To be the second largest exporter of agricultural products after the US is a superb feat as the Netherlands is so much smaller a region than the US! That information makes it clear why you have so many fields to photograph and a lot to be proud of in your country in that fashion! Thank you for taking all that time to explain it! Always interesting to read people's stories; it's an opportunity to add to our knowledge base!

@Weezilou This can be misleaded. It`s true but also that we`ve one of the most inhabitants per square mile in the world (And still increasing) I don`t like the big cities but we have plenty of them too. We call the area roughly between the cities Rotterdam, Utrecht and Amsterdam one city named : Randstad.
