Our friends arrived in time for dinner and packed to leave in the morning for a vacation on Catalina Island. The weather took a cool turn, but in California, that's something of a treat (if it doesn't last too long!) It gives us one of the few chances to light a fire and feel cozy of an evening!
@casablanca It rather *does* look like Christmas, doesn't it?! I put the garland up several Christmases ago and hung the animals. I liked it so much, and we're here so seldom, I decided to just call it a "woodland animal garland" and I continue to enjoy it! The fire in the fireplace isn't always appropriate as it's more typically warm, but it adds such a nice ambiance ; )
