...and then there were two... by Weezilou

...and then there were two...

All I had to do was to go outside and go near the hummingbird feeder and one or more swooped in to check me out before stopping for a drink! I just pulled up a chair...

I took A LOT of birthday party photos for Ashley at Dylan's party and then came back to her house where I sat here and relaxed!
How beautiful!

Absolutely fav! Not sure I've seen a humming bird with pink neck like that before.

@will_wooderson Thanks Will! I'm not sure which type this particular hummer is, but there's one called a Ruby-Throated Hummingbird...for obvious reasons! The males of most types have these brilliant (teensy) feathers, and the sun was just right to catch it! They're very bold and fearless birds... Ken jokes that if they were any bigger they'd be a force to be reckoned with!

Beautiful, Louise! Now that I am feeding squirrels, I told my husband that after I set up the bird feeder, a hummingbird feeder will be next! :)

@gardenfolk You're going to love both of them! I commented today that I wonder why people don't want the squirrels around/// Granted, they do make birds wait in line, but they're hungry, too... Have TWO feeders!
