Every summer I hope there will be a cat who'll spend some time with us, so imagine our delight when, as we were just getting settled, look who (literally) popped in to see us! It's Dinah whom we found and cared for back in the summer of 2015 https://365project.org/Weezilou/365/2015-12-06
We were in such a quandry as to what to do with her at the summer's end, but our neighbour said that their family would love to take her in, and she's had the best of homes! We get letters and pictures from them in the winter, so we know how much she's loved. For us, on this day, it was just a joy to have her come by, and perhaps from time to time she'll drop by again, but we know where she calls home!
Dinah just knew you had come “home” and had to say hello! Such a lovely story Louise! So good to know you found Dinah her forever home. She is telling you she appreciates it! Fav!
@joansmor Oh Joan, we're so happy to be back here as well! We had one warmish day, and this morning is dawning sunny so we *may* be in for a hot one. Hearing from friends in NC and reading here on 365, I think it's nothing like what you all have been having -yet- ... Happy 4th to you!
Awe! She remembered you and missed you. Dinah couldn't wait for you to come back. I love how you adopted a cat every time you were in Lunenburg. I the photos of yours where one can see your periwinkle house in the background. Unforgettable! I hope you are having a great visit with @joysfocus and am thankful you shared many special times together in Nova Scotia! Love to you and Ken! BTW... what is the name of the paint color that was used on your house?
I love that you're enjoying my project like you're reading a book! That sweet Dinah spent time with us right to the end! She could look into either of two windows, and when I saw her looking for us, I'd open the back door and in she'd run! She was a sweetie...very special and I'm so happy my friend`s family loves her as much as we did!

Good to hear - some cats relate to people, some just to location.
