I couldn't believe the activity in the back yard this afternoon! Two young squirrels had their own games going, running circles around and around (and around) the tree outside my window! Ken and I couldn't stop laughing at them, but these two young males still have a thing or two to learn about the birds and the bees!
Perhaps they were watching "The Birds" as for over two hours (and into dusk when I had one swoop past my head!) they chased one another back and forth across the yard and back! I took photos from inside so as not to disturb the frivolity, and had nearly 40 "very easy snaps" of this sort of activity and of one or the other of them settled and catching his/her breath! I've never seen anything like it!
The doves were doing a bit of the same and I didn't go out to check on the bees! They all acted like they were gleeful for cooler weather and all acting absolutely giddy!
Such delightful little birds! It must have been a joy to watch all that activity! When the temperature here dropped there was definitely an increase in visitors. Fav for your great capture!
