Did you know that "black cats" are really a deep chocolate brown? Moreover, the reflections from the carpet cast deep green on her yellow eyes, and even on her cheek and whiskers. Given all the anomalies, her name is "Pink". (Not the singer, but from the poem, "Pinkle Purr" by the author of "Winnie the Pooh", AA Milne.)
@kchuk Elyse, she's an old girl...her feral mom deposited the litter in our yard! She's "more chatty" than any cat I ever had, runs from strangers, but adores the family members she knows. Thanks for liking her ♥ : )
@pyrrhula I couldn't remember who asked about her eye color...it's YOU, Ferry! I did nothing to the photo to alter any color. She was lying on the green carpet in the bright sunlight, so the color is reflected in her eyes...and you can see some of it on her nose and whiskers, too! Her eyes are a more ordinary yellow, but I love what the sun and reflections did for her here! Thanks, Ferry!
I really love black cats (okay, indeed I love every cat, lol)
