As the late afternoon sun flooded the nasturtium bed, I attached the macro lens and went looking for the beauty in the variety of colors. I didn't expect, at the end of the day. to find flys, bees and bugs relishing that warmth as well!
@koalagardens I confess to not having eaten them, though they come in some prepackaged salad mixes. I've used them to decorate a salad for a pot luck, and I've used the (often) huge leaves to cover a cheese plate...add some flowers...again, for guests. In Madeira, we were told they consider them weeds. Here, I can hardly wait for them to explode in the flower bed!
