For a year I seemingly did nothing, and upon the arrival of my snowbound grandkids the days are full-to-bursting and as in the good-ol-days, I have more photos than I can attend to! Though we've buried more ducklings than we have left, we don't know what we might have done better. To the delight of everyone, the mother isn't bothered at all by the presence of MY little family. She comes and goes from the pool to the grassy yard & back again, and daughter, Heather has told the kids to give them all the space she wants. It's certainly been a lot of fun!
I'll jump ahead because I'm too tired to go through any more photos tonight, but before we left for a day in Laguna Beach, down the street can another mama and 10 ducklings! I'm sure she was one of the regulars here as well, because when we arrived home, they, too were enjoying the day in the pool!
Oh my! A menagerie for ducklings -- very special. Though sad to read some have not made it, it's clear the rest see you home as theirs too. What a treat for your grandkids too.
