Followed a YouTube class with Colin Smith and kept puttering...and there I had a Flamingo Friday post for my efforts. My flamingo model was at the Santa Barbara zoo.
We're in the midst of some remodeling that began with a leak under the kitchen floor...one repair led to another and we're staying in a hotel for the second time this month... Lots of time to hone techniques!

It's all about having fun! @sailingmusic While making do with a house in disarray, we're very well, thanks, and it was fun to put one of my "older photos" to use! @taffy Thanks, Taffy! I seem to have lost my focus for posting a well-photographed scene, and am having more fun with associated pursuits! I learned a lot, and it came away looking just like the sort of image I like! @gardenfolk I love that we've both branched out artistically...SO MANY choices in any given day!
