Budding Artists

An aspect of "Paint Sea on Site" is to involve the children of the community. At the drop off site for the art work, there's a display of the children's art work, and they have special programs for them. While on our morning walk, we came across friends who were out with their children, all painting together. It's wonderful to instill this talent and appreciation so early. One of the contributing artists this year, I remember as a young child the first year we came up. Her mother encouraged her with lots of art materials, and today she's an accomplished artist. I wonder what venues will open for these two someday!

It was a beautiful day to paint by the water http://365project.org/Weezilou/365/2012-07-21

A great composition and so natural. The children are so intent on what they are doing. I wonder if anyone was painting this scene. I love how the little girl is holding her brush.

Adorable capture!

It would be neat to check in on them in about 10 or 15 years to see if they pursued the enjoyment
