This has been the first day in over a month to catch up on email and promises to send photos to any number of friends. It felt so good to have this accomplishment underway! Tonight, as I saw the color of the sky through the window I thought to dash out front for "A" (as in "One") picture...but the sky got prettier, and I found myself continuing to walk up the street, shooting pictures until I found myself at "Gallows Hill", the old graveyard that sits alongside The Academy, a children's grade school for well over 100 years. Many of those children and their families are still to be found here...small-town life and death, side by side.
