Poetic License

After two days of high winds and temperatures to match (82 degrees F yesterday!) it was lovely to feel the cool air return from the direction of the ocean and bringing some clouds with it. Tonight's sunset was gorgeous, and after taking a few photos, I thought to see if the moon was up. There it was amid the pastel clouds and sky, such lovely coloration, I thought to take some photos framed with the Monterey Pine Tree to use as e-stationary. When I saw this on the computer, I thought of poetry and did some experimentation with writing and photographing a piece in my own hand. I uploaded the text, written on white, and separated them in Photoshop. It's a first effort, but this may have possibilities for what I like to do...
Love it! The use of the pine tree to frame the image is simply awesome and the poem being written in your own hand is the perfect finishing touch. Fav!

Lovely composition of image and words. And I love the idea that you've used your own handwriting - it personalises it so well. :-)

We could hear the high winds from inside the house last night. It blew a gale all night. 60+% chance of rain this afternoon. Clouds look like it..

I wondered if you did the writing and then processed it in. I love the fact you create e-stationary. This is wonderful...from image through words to your personal touch.
