These were the roses I was photographing when the carriage went by. There are so many on the bushes, they perfume the air. I tend to like a long-stemmed rose that I can put in a vase, but even in their simplicity, these will certainly stop you and get your attention!
@lyndemc I love that notion, Denise! I spent this afternoon "embracing" the flowers as well! (We bottled wine earlier, but there wasn't much about that that made for good photos!)
