This was taken the first afternoon of the opening of Folk Harbour Festival. With many venues around town for the musicians, the Bandstand offers a free sampler of all the music by each individual or group. It's our good fortune that we can enjoy the music from inside our house, but when I heard this set, I went to take some photos. It's a fair representation of the gatherings throughout the afternoon, people arriving or leaving along the way. So we enjoyed the music, but I never got the name of the duo...until Saturday night (Aug 8) when they came and performed two sets. Never mind the oddly quirky paired names! They're actually real! Oh my can they sing! The subject will come up again when I post some photos from Saturday night's KP. Wow!
So it's come to this...too many things to post within a given day unless I start using some of my additional albums! And I can't do that because I can't even keep up with what I've got...
