Sarah McKeeman @pixiemac seemingly levitated when we arrived at the beach! The rest of us were getting out of the car, and she had already kicked off her shoes and raced to the water's edge! Clearly, Lake Michigan can look like an ocean, and on this day, with scattered puffy clouds and sunshine, it looked like Caribbean waters.
Sarah rolled up her jeans and waded in for "across the water" photos, then lay in the sand for another tactile experience and a different perspective. To see someone so exuberant, it was impossible not to try to capture some of it!
How wonderful. Wish I could get down like that, more to the point wish I could get up from being down there like that. Guess why a new camera with a tilting lcd screen is on my lust-list.
