While back in California the weather along the coast can be so consistent that they refer to mornings as "May Grey" and "June Gloom"...it just as consistently burns off about 11 AM! Check this out...7:30, and the warm, dappled sunlight is making an inviting setting for morning coffee! The new back deck was only finished shortly before we left last year, so we're going to enjoy this space every day we can!

@pamknowler you DO know me pretty well, Pam! And how fun to see everyone here so far @novab@aglennc whom I actually have met and know! Put it this way (about the relaxation)...you already know I'm a night owl. so I'm not entirely functional in the mornings! It takes me a few pushes to get out of bed, and then a few cups of coffee and lolling on the porch before I can start the day without hurting myself ; )
