For all our years here I've thought to get out to photograph these wetlands, and on this evening in the reflected afterglow, it was irresistible!
With us for the coming week are three young musicians studying Renaissance music at The Academy. They won't begin classes until Monday night, so we took them sightseeing at sunset, and to Mahone Bay for a pub dinner and good local music in the company of 12 of our friends. Before dinner was over, one of the young men (from Montreal) said he thought he might start looking to buy property here!
So stunning!! The colors and the reflections and the textures all work so well together. Sure is nice to be back "visiting" Lunenburg :) I have watched your grandchildren grow through instagram. They are beautiful of course. Amazing how time passes.....
