Of course I give this bit of Americana a fav. I love the earnestness of the expression, and the way you captured the seeds in midair. I think this is worthy of a frame.
@allie912 "His earnestness"...perfect! Yes, he took time to think out his wish, and I'm sure he's hoping it comes true! I won't tell you what he wished for, but I think his dad has no plans to put a swimming pool in the front yard!

@pamknowler He *was* hot! Ashley had bought 13 boxwood plants and Ken and the boys had just planted eight of them! Tough assignment, but it was sweet the way the boys pitched in!
Nice photo. Somewhere Norman Rockwell is smiling. (And I say that as an admirer of his work. My daughter did that in front of neighbor's house when my daughter was sixteen. The neighbor was a crazy woman and chased my daughter and her boyfriend, yelling at her for three blocks until my daughter arrived home scared and hysterical. I had to go out and set this woman straight. Sad world where any act so innocent can be so misconstrued. Great photo. Thanks for sharing.
