Whose Pool is this anyway?! by Weezilou

Whose Pool is this anyway?!

The grandkids are visiting, and we were completely amazed that the ducks (and not just this one!) seem quite used to the presence of people...even the young ones! Ashton kept swimming closer and closer, but instead of flying off, the duck quickly swam around him to the other end of the pool!

To those who harbor concerns about sharing a pool with ducks, how many swim with their dogs? And how many children swim in lakes and ponds where the pH of the water isn't checked and adjusted daily? They never stay long enough to get really messy, and we hose down the deck if necessary. I only go into all this as I've noticed a few people express concern, so I want to lay it to rest.

For entertaining little boys, there was nothing better!
Oh what fun! And the ducks played too! I want to sit in one of those chairs in the shade and watch the action! Lol! Fav!

Your picture makes me wonder. Do ducks know not to pee in the pool?

Oh how lovely, the filtration system should take care of any mess anyway.

how lovely that the children can get so close to your animals. I'm sure the pool can handle anything the ducks leave behind.
