Two years ago our NS friends, Stephen and Zahra asked us to go on a cruise with them around Newfoundland but we already had plans for another cruise this past spring. We declined.
As fate would have it, we canceled the trip to the Galapagos because I had surgery, so no cruises, but we decided to go to Newfoundland and asked Pam to join us. There we were on the day the ship sailed, so we invited our friends to our flat for coffee and pastry and then headed out to this Irish pub for lunch together! I loved that we could all meet up on this "foreign" shore!
We'll see them again later in the summer, and can compare notes on our travels. Let the good times roll!

A nice young fellow from Ireland who works in that restaurant was outside on a break and offered to take our picture. He really did a terrific job for which I'm most grateful!
