As the saying goes, when we're in Nova Scotia, we enjoy a lot of fish meals! Rebecca's is a favourite restaurant of ours in Mahone Bay, only a short distance away, and we wanted Pam to have the opportunity to sample the fare. She had a scallop burger and I had this amazingly delicious linguine with seafood!
While I harboured no regrets, it wasn't until I finished that I remembered we were having a lobster dinner that night!
That's another saying... "You can't have too much of a good thing"!
Oh the memories of such wonderful food! I have to say the whole holiday was a food sensation! I am still talking about all the fabulous fish dishes I had especially the scallops! Just checking the next flight out! Lol! Fav for such a lovely memory of Mahone Bay which is also a Photographers paradise!
Like you visit us you most try ``mussel``. This area is famous for it.
I buy every year about 33 lbs of a kind of fish (Schol) we love and store them (cleaned) in the frigidaire for the rest of the year so we have it (nearly) once a week. ( At this time they are on there best)
(Some people have to much but never enough. saying by Ferry)
You can never have too much seafood, I'm sure in New Foundland, the locale plays a huge part in what's available. There really isn't anything better than fresh caught seafood!
