Posh came looking through the window for me again...clearly I've become well-trained! The new stage we've arrived at is that I can pet her with my free fingers or thumb while she eats from my hand. With the understanding that there's not a lot to say when I continue to post photos of me feeding her, feel free to share a smile and move on... Don't forget to make the most of your weekend!
@stray_shooter When I opened your message in my email, I could clearly see them...squirrels! You know me...no cell phone, and I can only type out "smile and flown" faces!
@littleconnie@kchuk You're fun people to share with... I, too, would certainly cheer on anyone having a successful friendship with animals Thank you both!
@golftragic I try to carry on the legacy of Steve Irwin, with a little Jack Hannah and Jacques Cousteau and Jane Goodall thrown in! All led by St Francis of Assisi, of course! Thanks, Marnie...I embrace moments like this as relaxing ones!
@louannwarren Lou Ann...don't worry! Greg, who moves in to look after everything, is as silly about the animals as I am! His brother and his mother before him have all cared for the animals through the years. He's in his 50s, so he's steadfast. We've had such superior caregivers through the years, I truly believe they were heaven-sent! They've all been well known to me, and I never had to go searching! Thanks for caring...I get this question several times over every six months!
@Weezilou Ah, well I actually knew you had Greg, but I didnβt realize he was as hands on as he obviously is. How very wonderful for you and for Posh and all of his friends!
This continues to amaze me. You have a real thing with animals that is for sure. And - thank you for reminding me that it is the weekend! I love retirement!
@gaylewood It all begins with their own bowl of sunflower seeds! There's a second one in the yard that seems to be watching and will, with some trepidation, take a peanut from my fingers. I love these moments! Posh is very slow, deliberate and gentle!..
