We arrived back at our daughter's in the late afternoon, and I always feel I'm on vacation when I can photograph the gorgeous sunsets here! I liked all the views as the sun set, but picked this because of the number of birds flying past the setting sun. About all I did to the image was to remove all the spots that weren't birds! (I can't believe how fast lenses get dirty inside!)
@pamknowler I used to think Osia messed with the colour when she posted all those sunset pictures, but this was it this evening! I played with the colour slider, thinking I was a bit weary of orange sunsets, but they all looked a little weird! Except that I need to get my lens cleaned, this was pretty much SOOC!
@pamknowler I do up the speed and the f-stop which is like putting on sun glasses to look at it, so it's probably "darker" than if you looked at it without sunglasses, but the colours along the coast get pretty intense. (Ron is shooting similar sunsets recently as well.)
@skippysue I agree! It looks like the sweltering tropics! However, to get the shape of the sun, I use a high f-stop which darkens the scene a bit, but the colour isn't altered. Thanks!
This sky color looks like the Saharan Desert sunsets I’ve seen in National Geographic. Except there are no camels in your photo. I love this, it is fabulous in my book!
