Papa o'Pups arrived here this afternoon with a large bundle in his arms and asked if I'd be willing to trade 2 greyhounds for what was in the package! He drives a hard bargain, as every woman can recognize the shape of a floral bouquet! I peeked and saw lavender roses...my weakness did me in! I couldn't wait until morning to photograph them; they're so gorgeous!
We had a lot of fun while it lasted, and I was stunned to see you'd put the boys on the popular page! Wait 'til their folks hear about that! Thank You!
Lovely. Beautiful gift.
( Holland is much more different as I show you. Every part of it has it`s own apperiance. Compare to other countries the are very close to each other. I`ve been driving in Washigton State for several hours seeing the seem dessert landscape. Imposible in our country as you already have leave it)
@pyrrhula Oh Ferry, thank you for your kind thoughts. We can't believe it's happening all over again! We have friends in the town of Calabasas who had to be evacuated, and a little further north in Carpinteria, Ashley says it's getting smoky. I'll let you know as I hear more; I just pray that this one won't last for so long like last years!
I recall you said you were living in the Spokane area in Washington...and yes, the scenery is the same for a long distance! In just the country of Nova Scotia, we can find farms and fields, orchards and dairy farms, and then, closer to where we are, we have some forests, and everywhere, more lakes and more lakes of every size...and all this surrounded by ocean! As you know, we love being here half the year!
@joansmor Hi Joan...sadly, the fire that's called The Camp Fire, is in the same general area where last year's fire began! Ashley called today and said the air is very smoky, but I'm not ready to second guess what will happen. I'll post something if there's news about my daughter and her family to share. You can see, above, what I wrote to Ferry.
@joansmor@pyrrhula Saturday morning, and the news has been terrible for those who were caught in the fire! The Woollsey Fire (not the Camp Fire up north of SF) has headed south into Malibu...a terrible turn for those who live there! For now our family members are safe, but no matter how wealthy the folks in Malibu are, it's heartbreaking to lose your home and all the memories in it! (I do wish I could send the rain that we're getting every other day!) Thanks for the kind thoughts, Joan and Ferry.
